Super A!

There was a little Super Hero in need of a cape this morning so I whipped up this little ditty and it works perfectly!

Super Abby was rescuing babies and grannies and toys ALL MORNING! I honestly wish I could share a pattern ot tutorial on this one but it came right off the top of my head and I just made it up as I went. Im putting that blue polka dot fabric to good use and I guess I better since I have 20 more yards of it! Ahhh!

~Cherry Tea Towel~ and Misc. Other Stuff !

I whipped up this little Cherry Tea Towel last night. I'm sending this off to a sweet friend that blessed me with a small gift and a cheery card a couple of weeks ago. I think it's a pretty funky little thingy! Can't wait to send it off in the mail!

I recieved this sweet little note in the mail this week, from miss Stephanie (aka QUEENOF DREAMZ at MJF) and I was so suprised and blessed by her thoughfulness. I LOVE the little charms she sent! I am amazed at all of the people who have taken the time to write me and comment on my blog and remind me that they are thinking of me during my troubles with my last pregnancy! Look slike another little thank you gift will be in the works sometime soon, for miss Stephanie!
P.s. BAD HAIR DAY ALERT! Sorry folks, this is me on "fonky hair day" : )

Abby and I visited Paw Paw twice this week. He loves to see Abby! Abby was all decked out with her sunglasses and PAwPAw decided he wanted to try them on!
Sweet HUGS!
On the way out Abby decied to stop and "pet" the stone Sheep in the court yard! She was patting them so gently... CuTe!!!!

I call this a "thingy"

Sometimes I make things and I call them appropriately "thingys". They serve no real purpose other than occupying my creative whim for an hour or so. This thingy is sort of cute, in a messy, unfinished, thingy sort of way don't you think?

Itty-Bitty-teenie-weenie-polka-dot-APRON!

Little miss Abigail makes a beautiful model for her new "helper" apron. The apron neck and ties are all one strand. It is strung through the arm hole edges so that it can easily aadjust higher or tighter as needed..cool huh?

SHE Makes That Dress Look Beautiful!

I found this white eyelet fabric at the thrift store and couldn't resist making it into a dress for Abby. It doesn't fir perfectly, but then again, I didn't claim to be a proffessional ; )

* Sorry about the quality of the Pictures... We had a really sunny day today and I just didn't feel like goin' all fancy with my pictures. In case you can't tell, under the white eyelet fabric is a tiny yellow check fabric that barely shows through the eyelet. The little straps are also yellow check.

Baby Onsies

This was a really QUICK sewing project. I hesitate to even call it sewing because it was so simple. They really didn't turn out looking as cute as I had hoped but it'll have to do. A few ladies are putting together a box of baby things to send to a friend who moved to France and is expecting a baby boy in July. I just sewed these little fabric cutouts to a premade white onsie. I figured sending this is better than sending nothing at all. There really is something cute about them they just don't look like I had pictured.

WHEW ! ! !

I thought I'd never get it done! I picked out the fabric for this fabric banner decor about two weeks ago and I have been cutting out about three triangles a night for two weeks. Finally I had a window of time and got to finish it up completely. Well, almost completely. I always have to look at a finished project for several days and I always think of a lil' something here or there that needs to be added or adjusted. So we'll see how this looks in a few days, but for now, here it is!
