"A Good Thing", to do with old jars

Dress them up!
I used an old book I bought at a thrift store ( the good kind with stains on the paper and old notes tucked inside of it!) and tore a few pages out and roughed them up a bit and just lined the inside of the jar with that. Then added a few little things here and there. .. The "Q" was just something I had saved for my collage work and it ended up fitting perfectly with this jar. I stamped the "Bless the Lord" on some old blue paper and just stuck that in there and gave each jar a "wrap" with silver floral wire and a gold ribbon..Im not feelin' the gold ribbon so that might be modified later. Anyway, these are super cute for displaying those little "weed boquets" from your little ones or just to hang around wherever you need alittle decoration!

becka,

I just wanted to let you know,

I went back and read a few of your blog posts... (as often as I blog, I sometimes don't get to read everyone elses blog) I just want to say that your blog is the most refreshing and authentic blog I have read in quite a while. It is often difficult for people to translate their true character to a blog... but Lil sis you do it well!

I love you tons and couldn't be prouder of where you are!

keep up the incredible blogging!

I love jars with caricature and when you place some beautiful dandelions in them they are just the best.

I am new to this blogging and haven't figured it out yet I sent you 2 comments then I realized it was going to your E-mail first. You went to my blog and left a comment(thank-you). I just wanted to say I also am not Catholic my husband is and I was married on the alter in the Our Lady of Victory Basilica & National Shrine. That in it's self was a miracle. But we always did lent at our house. I think it was my mom's way of saying No Ice cream for 40 days.
