Welcome Ryland Tucker!

Our little man was born July 30! Weighing an oz more and a quarter inch longer than his big sister was... 7lbs 10oz and 19 inches long. It's been a super easy transition from three to four in our family and I couldnt have asked for a better three people to share life with than my three sweeties Andrew, Abby and Ryland!
I find it overwhelming to think of updating everyone with whats been going on sine my last blog post back in March so I'm just gonna jump right in where we are now and you'll figure the rest out.
With two little ones cnsuming most of my time now, I have to carefully carve out little crafting sessions during each week and sometimes i dont get around to it at all. Its ussually late at night when the kids are asleep that I sit down with some kind of project and work on it till I cant keep my eyes open any more.
So since crafting isn't at the top of my list of priorities I'll be sharing some other things that have held my interest lately.
With a growing family and an economy that is at it's worst I have been focusing on ways to save money and resourses and stretch everything and anything we have.
Check back tomorrow for my #1 money saving effort!

It's ok to Wear a Rummpled Shirt!

I found this short little article on MSN.

Why It's OK to Wear a Rumpled Shirt
In praise of slightly wrinkled clothing, an emotional investment unto itself

A wrinkle-free shirt is like a football uniform without grass stains: It makes you look third string. Hesitant. Pretty. It makes you look correct, yes, but life isn't correct; it's wrinkled. Anyway, wrinkles are a badge. They're evidence that we've hailed a cab or reached for our wallets or leaned back in our chairs or fought something. They're proof that we've moved.
A wrinkle-free shirt is for someone who wants to cover his tracks. It's a safe choice, and in style, safety is not a virtue. Texture is. We should look flawless only when we're standing in front of the mirror in the morning and congratulating ourselves on how wonderful we are.
Then, starting immediately, our clothes should start gathering a history. Attempting to convince everyone around us that we look this sparkly, this utterly without stain or spoil, is pretending we're someone we're not.
It's hiding. And if it comes down to hiding, and it always does, then we'll just put on our jacket.

1 c. salt
1 c. warm water
Mix salt and flour - add water and knead.
Lightly spray your cookie sheets and begin to shape the dough with your hands into whatever you desire.Bake at 325 degrees for about an hour. You will have to adjust that time according to how large or small you make your pieces.

~Lillian Joy~

Before I was born the LORD called me; from my birth He has made mention of my name.
Isaiah 59:1
Lil' Lillian Joy!
March 5th, 2009
I got to snuggle her and hold her for a while today...she's just one big
bundle of cuteness!
I went with the intentions of taking some snapshots of mom and dad and baby,
but once they put her in my arms,
I was good for nothing,
and pictures were a very distant thought : )
Lillian is the baby of six kiddos!
What a rich family!
CONGRATULATIONS JIMMY & HEATHER!

"A Good Thing", to do with old jars

Dress them up!
I used an old book I bought at a thrift store ( the good kind with stains on the paper and old notes tucked inside of it!) and tore a few pages out and roughed them up a bit and just lined the inside of the jar with that. Then added a few little things here and there. .. The "Q" was just something I had saved for my collage work and it ended up fitting perfectly with this jar. I stamped the "Bless the Lord" on some old blue paper and just stuck that in there and gave each jar a "wrap" with silver floral wire and a gold ribbon..Im not feelin' the gold ribbon so that might be modified later. Anyway, these are super cute for displaying those little "weed boquets" from your little ones or just to hang around wherever you need alittle decoration!

Kid Solution #1

So, I'm really tired of looking at this great big Zipper bag full of broken crayons, dryed out markers without lids, and pieces of chalk...

SO I got THIS!

These twist up crayons last FOREVER, and they dont need caps and they dont dry out, AND if you don't let on to the kiddos that you can TWIST the crayon tip out, they'll just be amazed at how they're little crayons never get dull!

Just a cute Painting that Abby did! She's pretty good for a two and a half year old!

~Homemade Valentines Day Cards~

Valentines Day cards got sent out Just in time! Abby stamped her feet on her cards and made "foot hearts" and they turned out so cute!

Getting a Head start on Summer!

My camera has been in a a funk lately..possibly due to all 3000 pictures that Abby took when she got ahold of it...So now that it's all cleared up, here are some pictures to get caught up.I just thought this picture was hilarious! She apparently took an interest in photographing the contents of the TRASH CAN! Lets see, we have an empty sprite bottle, some left over Cinnamon toast crunch cereal, an empty Bubbles container, a beef fajita bag...wow.

Abby's been Practicing her swing for TEE ball in a couple years! PawPaw gave her some pointers on how to make a home run and she's been at it ever since!
When she hits the ball you are COMMANDED to cheer and clap and say "go Abby GO!" until she finishes running..lol
I glanced out the back door earlier this week and Abby was sitting just like this, all alone, blowing bubbles. I think she's taking after me and the sunglasses thing...

TOLD YOU!

We've been busy getting our flower beds ready for spring and Abby carefully tends to her little seedlings every day.
My HONEY bought me some very beautiful Carolina Jasmine plants for valentines day and I just LOVE them! Can't wait to see how they look this summer! He also bought me two BIG Coreopsis plants...Forgot to take a picture of those.

AND, for the more glamorous me, he bought....

Juicy Couture's "Viva La Juicy" perfume and lotion set!!!!

Glamorous! Glamorous!

GUESS WHAT I FOUND OUT TODAY !

Pyzam Glitter Text Maker
Glitter Graphics Maker & MySpace Layouts

...And I could not be MORE excited! I have had a feeling all along that it was a boy because everything has been so different than it was with Abby. I've had NO morning sickness, just a few woozy moments here and there, I have gained weight SO much faster ( i'm just gonna blame that on the pregnancy even though we all know otherwise: ) and I have been craving lots of really spicy foods and STEAK! So, I begged the Doctor for an ultrasound today even though I wasn't due for one and he said he'd do it if I could wait for a while. So anyway, I HAVE THE BEST doctor ever and I mean that! He did the ultrasound just for fun, and DID one on Sara since she was there with me...And even though he told me we'd have to wait three more weeks to find out gender, he went ahead and sneaked a peek and told me he was SURE it's a boy! SO YAY for us! Now I can officially think BOY!!!

3)I love waiting tables! And I'm good at it ; )
4)I no longer go to the library because I refuse to pay an outragous fine and consequently am not allowed to check out any more books...
5) I have never riden any type of carival ride that you have to be more than three feet tall for ( and it's not because I'm short)
6)I hope to publish a book one day.

14)I despise cold weather, snow, ice...it all just frusterates me. I don't own many winter clothes because I just refuse to beleive it's comming back every year :)
15) I honestly beleive I had an encounter with an angel ( at least I only KNOW of one for sure : ) A man dressed in blue doctor scrubs came into a resteraunt that I worked at late at night and placed an order to go. The things he said to me while he waited in the dimly lit foyer by the cash register, and the way he talked to me about things that no one knew about where things that could have only come from God. Maybe more about that story another time..
